A special invitation ... St. John’s/St. Luke’s Lutheran Church at 4606 Michigan Avenue will be celebrating Holy Week with Palm Sunday services at 10 a.m.; Good Friday, March 25, service will be at noon and Pastor Zimmerman will speak on the seven last words. We will conclude with Easter Services at 10 a.m. and everyone is welcome.

Excitement this week at Valley Home School! After working months to complete their Science projects, student will welcome everyone to their Science Fair this Thursday, March 17. The Science Fair will be held in the school gym. Good luck to all!

If you are looking for a special place to take your family this weekend, head for beautiful Knights Ferry! Civil War Days are set for March 19 and 20. The Civil War re-enactment gives us a chance to see history in motion. For young and old alike, it is exciting to see the period clothing worn by the patriots and witness the boom of the cannon. A special treat will be the Spaghetti Dinner at the Knights Ferry Club House. Be sure to make plans to enjoy this delicious dinner!

Ag Day at Valley Home School is quickly approaching. Ag Day is filled with tremendous learning experiences, with most stations being hands-on learning. Oakdale High will be at Valley Home from 8:30 a.m. in the morning until approximately 11:30 a.m. sharing their knowledge with students! After lunch Escalon High will bring their skills to the Valley Home campus. We greatly appreciate both schools and look forward to a great day of educational learning!
