Our Oakdale High Football team was well represented this past Saturday at Levi’s Stadium! Mustang colors dominated the crowd with the opposing colors of Buffalo green being not so dominant. The game was a thriller with our Mustangs coming out on top. Our cheerleaders and football players were brilliant and represented our area with tremendous pride and hard work. Go Mustangs!

Tonight, Wednesday October 15th, is our community MAC meeting. Please plan to attend if you have questions that need an answer or you simply want information on our community. We usually have Fire, CHP, Sheriff, Supervisor O’Brien, Valley Home School Superintendent Rolanda Desrosiers-Lewis, and other county heads present. All are welcome and there is always great information shared. The meeting starts at 6:30 and will be held at the school.

Excitement is building as we get closer to our Fall Harvest Festival on October 25th! Raffle tickets are selling quickly for a super trip to Disneyland. For tickets you may call Megan at 209-351-1271. This year Harvest Bingo will be offered for fun for all. Our crickety old hayride will take you on a journey through the haunted cemetery located under towering ghoulish eucalyptus trees. Further away only the very brave will enter our haunted swamp, where the sad, mournful tune of an old lonely banjo player can be heard in the darkness. The dampness in the haunted dimness will make your bones creak while you try to escape the desperate cries of changed souls begging to escape their swampy graves. Enter if you dare!

Fun for the entire family abounds as you stroll through the game area. There will be games ranging from the duck pond for the very young, toilet paper tossing, and even a camouflage covered Quack Attack! In addition to the mouth-watering food offered, and the delightful fall harvest fruit pies for sale, there will also be sweet treats of cotton candy, cherry snow cones, and hot buttery popcorn! A good time for all.
