The hot weather we have been sweltering in the past couple of weeks seems to have taken a toll on Valley Home activities this past week. There is the old saying that “no news is good news” however, in this case we are disappointed at not having received a word from our Valley Home 4-H entrants in the County Fair!

We did discover that one of our 4-H members, Gunter Brisi did come out a big winner for his goat entry in the Fair and we offer Gunter a big round of applause. We were delighted to receive news that Gunter’s entry was proclaimed Reserve Supreme Champion Market goat. Congratulations, Gunter, we are all proud of you!

Two of our favorite residents, Tina Jensen and Pete Rushman, are both enjoying birthday celebrations today, July 25th. All your Valley Home friends and neighbors send bushels of Happy Birthday wishes to both celebrants on their special day!
