The Heaton and Mullins family would like to thank all of you that have called to check in on Jenna’s progress following her surgery. Family members appreciate your concern very much. We are told that Jenna had surgery on both feet right after Christmas and is doing really well. Prior to the surgery, two of Jenna’s closest friends took her on a trip up to the snow, which was one of the things Jenna really wanted to do before surgery. To top off the fun day in the snow, the friends brought enough snow back home with them and made snow ice cream for everyone. Jenna is hoping to be back in school by late February or early March at the latest. We all wish you a speedy recovery, Jenna!

Another special treat for Jenna and her cousin, Cody, was a visit from Army PFC Andrew Schlegel of Knights Ferry. Andrew was home on leave from Fort Benning, Georgia, where he is currently stationed. It was great having an opportunity to visit with PFC Schlegel. The Valley Home community is so proud of you and appreciates your service to our country!
