Tons of excitement ... with April 23rd rapidly approaching excitement is building in Valley Home, even in the surrounding areas of Oakdale, Waterford, Escalon and Knights Ferry! Those purchasing tickets for the April 23rd Valley Home School Spring Fling Dinner Dance are in for a fun packed evening! The “California Outlaws” will keep folks on their feet with lively crowd pleasing music! H-B will handle bar duties, providing the very best for thirsty dinner patrons. The evening will be topped off with a delightful dinner, prepared by MaryBeth’s BBQ. Tickets for Tim McGraw will highlight the evening raffle and silent auction table. What fun! Individual tickets, couples or reserved tables may be purchased by calling the Valley Home School office at (209) 847-0117. Your support will be greatly appreciated. All proceeds will go toward the Valley Home School greenhouse project!

A special thank you to all of you who supported the Valley Home 4-H food booth at the 2016 Oakdale Rodeo! Money raised at the rodeo booth will go toward club projects and activities. Valley Home 4-H will be nominating officers for the 2016-2017 year with election of officers to come.

Congratulations to Valley Home Public Speaking members, Callie Chrisman, Ben Fletcher and Sam Fletcher on each winning gold medals during Regional Competition. We are so proud of each of you! Callie, Ben and Sam will now go on to compete at the State level. Good luck to each of you!

This Friday, April 15th our Valley Home students will travel to Gratton School to compete in the area Spelling Bee. Our very best to each of our Spelling Bee contestants.

On April 22nd there will be more excitement for our community and school. Our Valley Home students will travel to Paradise School for their first track meet of the season. Go Hawks!

Be sure to make plans to attend our Valley Home MAC meeting on Wednesday, April 20th at 6:30 p.m. Bring your questions and/or comments. Help keep your community the safe, wonderful place it is! The MAC meeting will be held at Valley Home School.
