I have always known Valley Home is a very special place to live. This week our family has once again been surrounded by the most loving, kindest and caring extended family we could ask for, as we suffered the loss of my younger brother, Ed Keaster this week. It all happened so quickly that before we knew it, we were at Stanford Hospital in Palo Alto praying for a miracle. Although we did not get the miracle we were asking for that day, it turns out the miracle we did get was that we had my wonderful brother for 61 years on this earth. A most heartfelt thank you to each of you that have been so kind and caring.

Special days ... sunshine, green grass, beautiful blue sky and sweet smelling blossoms everywhere (not good for allergies), but lovely to behold! What a beautiful area we all call home!

Our Valley Home School basketball teams were in action this past Friday against Roberts Ferry School. What fun it was to watch these delightful kids as they, both schools, put all their efforts into playing great games. Running, jumping, passing the ball, making a shot, giving a well-deserved high five to a teammate, it was an absolute joy to watch these young people have such fun!

For those of you who may be out taking a drive in this beautiful weather, be sure to drive by the school. Our baseball diamonds and fields are really starting to come to life. They look fantastic ... very special thanks to Mr. Wells and his crew!
