Today, Wednesday September 11, 2019 we honor the memory of those who perished at the hands of violent terrorists eighteen years ago. 9-11 is a day that will forever be etched into our minds. We will never forget! So many innocent souls lost, tremendous acts of bravery, so many sacrificed everything. God bless and forever comfort the families that were left behind.

Valley Home 3rd graders, and 7/8th graders were treated to pizza and cake this past Wednesday at school! HonorBands founder Laura Tartaglione visited Valley Home School to show her appreciation for the fundraising efforts of Millie Cox, Ashlan McCurley and Cooper Bartholomew! Cooper set up the lemonade stand, while Ashlan and Millie served the ice cold lemonade! Folks donated over $1,400 to support HonorBands and Law Enforcement. We are very grateful to Laura and Mary for making the black mourning bands so that officers can show their respect for the lives of the fallen. Thank you to Laura Tartaglione, Oakdale Police Department, Stanislaus Sheriff’s Department, California Highway Patrol, and Modesto Fire for coming to Valley Home on Wednesday!

Our Valley Home neighbor and friend Toni Newcomb came by last Thursday in her beautiful little M.G. Oh my goodness what a great time we had! Toni took me for a spin around Valley Home, she had 50s music blaring, and with our hair blowing in the wind, we laughed and giggled like school girls! Thank you Toni for reminding me to enjoy the moment! I appreciate you so much my friend!
