On Friday August 16th, Valley Home School third grader Millie will be selling lemonade and baked goods to raise money for ‘Honor Bands.’ Honor Bands is an organization that honors Law Enforcement Officers when they are killed in the line of duty, by providing the Officers’ department with mourning bands worn on their badges to honor their fallen brother or sister. Honor Bands does this at no charge at all to the department and depends completely on donations to make and distribute these bands. Please come and enjoy some ice cold lemonade or baked goods and help honor and say thank you for the sacrifice of our Law Enforcement Officers. Any donations will be accepted and appreciated! If you are unable to make it to the lemonade stand Friday but would like to make a donation to Honor Bands, please call Millie at 985-5233.
