We send our heartfelt sympathy to our Knights Ferry neighbors. Once again this small tight knit community has lost one of their own. Glenda Maisel passed away very suddenly this past week. Glenda and her husband Rick owned and operated the historic Knights Ferry General Store, Bar and Glenda’s Deli. Many folks, including several of us here in Valley Home will remember Glenda’s delicious cooking! I will always remember the care Glenda took to get every order just right, her customers were each special to her! The community of Knights Ferry has suffered the loss of so many during the last few years, our hearts are heavy with sadness here in Valley Home for our good friends in Knights Ferry. May God bless and comfort this beautiful little community.
