You are invited! This evening, May 27, 2020 our Oakdale Fire Protection District has scheduled a workshop to discuss the future of the Oakdale Fire Protection District. It will be held this evening, Wednesday, at 6:00pm. The workshop will be held at the Valley Home Station located at 13200 Valley Home Road. Please note that the district will be imposing social distancing for all individuals present, and require individuals to maintain at least six feet of distance from others present! All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

This past week our Valley Home School students, parents, grandparents, and neighbors formed a colorful parade and drove by the school to say goodbye to retiring Superintendent Tom Price, and school secretary Jennifer Higgins! The students will especially miss seeing them each day and their kind words of encouragement. Over the years our students could always count on a great learning environment, they knew they could visit with Mr. Price or Mrs. Higgins at any time! It has been such a great blessing for our school and our community to have each of them at Valley Home!

Although these trying times poised challenges for kindergarten and 8th grade graduation, both graduations turned out to be absolutely beautiful and very meaningful! Even with social distancing rules in place, the graduations were both filled with appreciation for a job well done by all students, along with tremendous love and appreciation for each of them. The huge balloon arch especially added the most beautiful ambiance! A very heartfelt thank you to all those who have helped our students over the years, at Valley Home School. You are deeply appreciated! Go Hawks!

We would like to thank Deb Hicken McConnell and Sconza for a wonderful tribute to our Oakdale High 2020 graduating class! Our seniors were treated like royalty, we are so grateful. Thank you so much Sconza Candy for making them feel so special!
