I hope each of you is enjoying this beautiful weather God has given us! This week I would like to take the time to once again say “Thank You” to our amazing First Responders. We pay tribute to these dedicated men and women who every day put their lives on the line for all of us.

These people serve our communities without reservation. It is said “They run toward danger ... not away from it!”

We are grateful; they are there every day to protect us from harm. Sheriff Jeff Dirkse, Leland, Cody, Jake, Brock, Ryan, the list of great Detectives, Deputies, and Officers goes on and on in our Sheriff’s Department. Our CHP, Officer Tom Olsen, Eric, Chuck, again a list of great officers that goes and on ... we appreciate each and every one of you so very much. Our Fire Department, Chief Alan Ernst, and a tremendous list of amazing and dedicated fire personnel.

First Responders, the devotion of these special people, school teachers, medical personnel, church clergy, our linemen, and so many more dedicated folks ... the amazing service they give to our communities is endless and very deeply appreciated.

Like many of you, I feel very blessed to call many of these dedicated First Responders my dear and very close personal friends. I pray for their safety each day.

These amazing folks leave their families each day and put their lives on the line for us. They make sure our lives and property are safe, each and every day; we are grateful, always.

Also to our amazing Veterans who have served, and are serving our great country, we are forever thankful for your service.

May God bless each and every one of these very special people ... you are deeply appreciated!

As always, until next week, “Happy Trails” to each of you.
