Hi All, l wanted to let you all know ahead of time about our ‘Valley Home Relay For Life’ Team! Since last year Relay For Life Teams (fundraiser for cancer research) were not able to actively get out and fundraise for this important research, this year hopes are for our area Relay For Life Teams to be able to once again come together to raise as much as possible for cancer research! The actual ‘Relay For Life’ event looks like it possibly could be held in October!! We would like to do a mini Valley Home ‘Relay For Life’ with many activities (as allowed) right here in Valley Home ... possibly in July ... funds raised would be counted towards each team members’ goal of $100 each ... all money would be a part of our bigger area fundraising effort! This year, several areas will be participating together in the big Relay for Life in October ... Oakdale, Turlock and several other communities! We need to start fundraising long before October, research is so IMPORTANT!! We will be doing our fundraising to honor our sweet Bonnie and all those who battle this horrible disease.
