A very special wedding! Former Valley Home resident Judah Burton and his lovely bride Torrie Koller were married Wednesday evening December 6, Las Vegas, Nevada. Torrie and Judah had planned their nuptials for months, making sure every detail was perfect! Family and friends gathered on the eve of the National Finals Rodeo to witness the loving vows exchanged between the two best friends! The beautiful bride and handsome groom will spend their honeymoon at the NFR. Judah works for the legendary rodeo champion Tuff Cooper, and now lives in Decatur, Texas. Bonnie and Bruce Gellerman of Valley Home received a very special invitation to Judah and Torrie’s wedding. Both Bonnie and Bruce are very proud of the young man Judah has become. Our Valley Home Community sends our best wishes for a happy life with many, many blessings to both Torrie and Judah.

Our Valley Home Christmas Parade lit up the evening sky this past Saturday night! The lighted Christmas Parade featured amazing entries, covered in hundreds of twinkling lights. The Seagrave family had the honor of being Grand Marshal this year. Santa and Mrs. Claus visited from the North Pole, handing out candy canes and listening to Christmas requests! Excitement was high when the big red Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Truck pulled into the parade line up! Immediately after the parade, folks gathered at our community park to light the little town Christmas Tree. Topping the evening off in style was the Oakdale High School Jazz Quartet. The Quartet is made up of members Ben Miller, Jude Markel, Nick Handley and Michael Lopez. Dinner guests were treated to beautiful holiday music, setting the mood for a truly wonderful evening!
