At our Town Hall meeting last Wednesday evening we learned that our Valley Home Fire Station will remain on the same schedule as before. We will share station staffing on a 50/50 basis with Knights Ferry! There is excitement among community members as we explore the possibility of raising much needed funding for our fire department! We will be working with our Knights Ferry neighbors and hope each of you will share your ideas for making funding available to our Fire Department! Meeting times, dates and details to follow. We all need and depend on our fire service ... seconds count!

Our delightful and dedicated Valley Home School bus driver, the beautiful and talented Mrs. Bonnie Gellerman celebrated her birthday this past week in style! As usual she was committed to making life better for those in our community and showed up on her birthday at our town hall meeting! Not realizing it was her birthday, we missed the chance for the community to sing “Happy Birthday” to her, so we say “Happy Birthday, Bonnie” – may the wind always be at your back. Our community loves and appreciates you every day!
