A big thank you to Cost Less Market for their help in making our Valley Home Community Park Fundraiser such a great success Cost Less Market along with all of you who purchased dinner tickets or sent donations will ensure our little community park expenses (taxes, PGE, etc.) will be taken care of. After expenses, the total profit is $2004.47 ... we actually received another call this week that one more donation will be mailed in. So thankful for all the wonderful folks who care so much!

October 15th will be here before we know it! Our school Fall Harvest Festival will start at 5:00 p.m. and go until 9:00 p.m. Last week we asked for donations for the silent auction ... what a fun and exciting way to enjoy an evening with family and friends. The Silent Auction always has terrific items for purchase; the really nice part is you get a wonderful gift or something for yourself while supporting our very special school! Once again this year delicious dinners and a delightful sweet shop will be available for your dining pleasure. A very special offering in the Sweet Shop this year will be homemade Portuguese sweet bread. The much sought after bread will be available for $5.00 while it lasts! What a wonderful evening this is going to be. We are looking forward to a beautiful full Harvest moon shining down on hay bales, tons of pumpkins and fun in the Pumpkin Patch.

We have lots more to tell you about this very special evening in our little community. All proceeds go to support our Valley Home School. Once again our community will get together and take care of this special place we all love so much. We are blessed indeed. Much, much more to come in the next couple of weeks.
