A special greeting to a very special Valley Home lady! Laura Burghardt has served our community in so many wonderful capacities over the years. We want you to know how very much we appreciate all your hard work Laura! Your love for our community has included writing the Valley Home News for 38 years for the Oakdale Leader. It would be impossible to list all the things you and your husband Glenn have done for our community and the surrounding community. You are an amazing woman. I remember many years ago you and Glenn were chosen to be the Grand Marshals of the very first Valley Home Christmas Parade. So much you have done for so many. You are greatly appreciated and much loved!

The Christmas Store is open! Students are shopping, Christmas Elves are busy keeping shelves stocked and hurrying around to get student purchases wrapped and ready to go home. It’s a busy time of year in Valley Home!

Remember this Friday evening is our Valley Home “After School Talent Show”. The show will start at 7 p.m. in the school gym!

This Saturday, our Valley Home Lighted Christmas Parade will be held at 5:30 p.m. No entry forms; just bring your safe, lighted Christmas entry and line up near the park or school. Tree lighting at the park immediately after the parade, then warm, delicious community potluck dinner in the school gym. Valley Home 4-H invites everyone to bring your favorite dish to share.
