Our Valley Home Community Park is excited to once again sponsor our Lighted Christmas Parade! The annual lighted parade will be held on Saturday, December 22nd, and will start at 5:30pm! There are no entry forms, no judging, just bring your lighted entry (safe and in good taste) and line up near the park and school! All entries should line up behind the Grand Marshal vehicle (it will have a sign on it). The Grand Marshal vehicle will lead the parade at 5:30pm. The parade usually goes three times around the block. Immediately after the parade, please gather at our Community Park for Christmas Tree Lighting and singing of two or three Christmas carols together. After the tree lighting everyone is invited to share their favorite potluck dish in our warm school gym. Valley Home 4-H sponsors this beautiful Christmas Dinner. All are welcome! Fun with our friends in Knights Ferry ... Our Valley Home Hawks soccer teams traveled to Knights Ferry last Friday and had a great time! The weather was perfect, the kids had a lot of support with several family and friends making the trip up the hill! It was a great day for all!

Our students are expected to be able to visit the Christmas Store this coming week! Special thanks to Shelly Carpenter and her elves for all their hard work in bringing the Christmas Store to our Valley Home School students. The kids are able to bring their Christmas lists and purchase gifts for their family members. Most gifts are under $5! After the kids make their purchases, Christmas elves wrap all gifts, and the kids then take them home and put under their tree. It is a very special time for our Valley Home students!

Friday evening, December 21st, our Valley Home “After School Talent Show” will be held in the school gym. The excitement will begin at 7:00pm. What a great night for our Valley Home students!
