A great time in Valley Home ... this Friday, September 16 is our “Park Fundraiser Drive Thru Dinner!” A very special thank you to all who purchased tickets or made a heartfelt donation. We each can feel great pride in our little park, whether we smile as we drive by, or sit at a picnic table and enjoy lunch, our community park is truly a blessing for all!

Lovely churches, a dedicated school, well stocked general store, and a beautiful firehouse that is home to highly trained firefighters, all this surrounds our little park. Working together we will preserve a wonderful way of life! You may purchase dinner tickets through tomorrow by calling Winnie at 985-5233.

This week we send Happy Birthday wishes out to Don Taro, Ryan Cope, Kate Hart, Christina Barreto, Seth Present, Amy Lehfeldt, Blake Mattos, Heidi Schaefle, Tryden Rice and Jenna Heaton. May each of you enjoy the very happiest of birthdays and many, many blessings on your special day! Granddaughter Jenna will turn 21 on her big day, since her favorite birthday dish is homemade chicken and dumplings, I will pull out the big old dumpling pan and again this year the family will celebrate with Grandma’s chicken and dumplings.
