With vacations and summer getaways in full force, it is important that we are aware of any suspicious activity within our community. Our Valley Home community is very well protected, because neighbors have always looked out for each other! This past week our Valley Home School Governing Board held a hearing to consider input from the public on the proposed adoption of a Developer Fee Justification Study for the District and an increase in the statutory school facility fee on new residential and commercial developments as approved by the State Allocation Board on February 24, 2016. The adoption of this fee and the increase of the facility fee are necessary to fund the needed construction to school facilities in order to accommodate students due to development.
