Hi everyone, I hope you all had a very nice New Year’s Eve weekend.

This column will be shorter this week ... my New Year’s Eve did not go quite the way I thought it was going to! Please if any of you ever experience chest pains, get yourself checked out. None of us want to have health issues but please don’t wait. I thought I could handle those pains; I thought I was too busy ... too busy to go have them checked out; at least I thought I was too busy! I soon found out that I didn’t have a choice; within a few days the pains were more intense, then really, really intense and all of a sudden I felt a tightness and such intense pain that I could not handle. I feel very blessed by getting to the ER and then being transferred quickly to Doctors Hospital in Modesto. For the past week with God’s help, amazing doctors and nurses gave me the very best of care! I am so thankful to be here. I deeply appreciate each of you who reached out to me; your prayers, your kindness, your words of encouragement meant the world to me. I have to admit that I was not a brave patient; I appreciate so very much your words of encouragement!

As always you may reach me by email at winniemullins51@gmail.com or by telephone at 209-985-5233.

Until next time, Happy Trails to All!
