Tuesday, July 16 saw winner Lisa Meunier take home the raffle basket containing more than $3,000 in prizes, with ticket sales part of the fundraiser dubbed Together for Teresa, in support of longtime Leader journalist Teresa Hammond as she battles breast cancer for a fourth time. Spearheaded by the Cotton and Sage/Felt + Feather crew, the effort was supported by countless other area businesses that provided prizes. Special T-shirts are also on sale with the Together for Teresa logo locally. The fundraising effort had netted $14,040 as of Tuesday morning. Teresa’s son Jackson and daughter Maddy were at the Cotton and Sage location Tuesday, with Maddy drawing the winning ticket. “Thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” she said of the funds raised to benefit the family. “We are so blessed to have this community.”
