U.S. News Rankings
Stanislaus State’s streak of regional and national recognition shows no signs of slowing as the University has again earned high rankings, this time from U.S. News & World Report. The national publication released its Best Colleges rankings Sept. 24, and Stan State landed in the top 10 in four categories as one of the best universities in the Western United States, including No. 3 for social mobility and No. 5 top public school.
Building Bridges With Beats
Musical group Las Cafeteras will bring their messages of joy, unity and respect to Stanislaus State on Oct. 2, as the inaugural event of a new University initiative - the Presidential Diversity Celebration Series. The free concert, from 6p.m.-8 p.m. in Turlock in front of the University Student Center, is open to the public.
Trustees’ Award
Estefania Hernandez Luna, a second-year Master of Social Work student, has earned one of the California State University’s most prestigious scholarships: the Trustees’ Award for Outstanding Achievement. Each year, the Trustees award one scholarship to a representative from each of the CSU’s 23 campuses, and Hernandez Luna was awarded the William Randolph Hearst Scholarship.
