Stanislaus Community Foundation is hosting an all-inclusive guide to IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organizations located in Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced counties.

The Nonprofit Directory, which uses real-time nonprofit data from Candid, a national platform, lists all nonprofit organizations and foundations in Stanislaus, San Joaquin, and Merced counties. This local resource is provided in partnership with Legacy Health Endowment and the Mary Stuart Rogers Foundation.

“Stanislaus Community Foundation’s donors often want to know more about the nonprofits they’re supporting,” noted Marian Kaanon, Stanislaus Community Foundation CEO. “This easy-to-use directory is accessible for all those who want to understand local nonprofit missions and programs. It’s a great tool for nonprofits too, allowing them to showcase their work to a wider audience.”

The Stanislaus Nonprofit Directory utilizes Transparency Seals developed by Candid, that shows users how much information each nonprofit has shared with the public. This directory allows donors to learn more about local nonprofit organizations and find those whose missions and programs align with their values. Through Candid, nonprofit organizations and foundations can tell their story, showcase programs, and note their impact. The directory also allows users to search for nonprofit 990’s for more transparency.
