Squadron 50 Hosts Spring Open House

Interested youth ages 12-18 and their parents are invited to visit the Civil Air Patrol Open House on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Modesto Airport. Squadron 50 only accepts new cadets (ages 12-18) a few times a year. This is your opportunity to learn more about Civil Air Patrol and the youth program.

The Cadet Program teaches youth about Leadership, Exploring Aerospace, Aviation Careers, Emergency Services, Physical Fitness, Character Development and much more. The Squadron also hosts numerous activities throughout the year and has opportunities to attend other Civil Air Patrol events across the state and in different parts of the country.

The program consists of youth ages 12-20. There is also an adult program for interested parents or anyone with a desire to serve the nation. Civil Air Patrol is the official Auxiliary of the United States Air Force and has been serving since Dec. 1, 1941.

Civil Air Patrol - Squadron 50 is at 700 Tioga Drive, Modesto.
