Two unique events are on the December calendar, with a table viewing and house tour scheduled.

The Modesto Garden Club is hosting its elegant Holiday Table Viewing at Del Rio Country Club, 801 Stewart Road, Modesto on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The public is welcome to view 30 tables, uniquely staged by garden club members with holiday finery for the season. Tickets are $10 each and are available at the door.

Also to celebrate the season, the club is putting on its annual Holiday Home Tour on Saturday, Dec. 14 between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Included are four local homes decked out in holiday decorations for attendees to enjoy. Tickets are $20 each (children are free) and can be purchased online at www.modestogardenclub.org; at local garden centers in the Stanislaus County area and on the tour.
