Beer, wine, cheese, German food and more were featured in neighboring Escalon over the weekend, as that community’s Sunrise Rotary Club hosted its annual Oktoberfest. Among the local craft breweries pouring at the Oct. 19 event was Last Call Brewery out of Oakdale, with patrons, at left, enjoying a sip and a chat.
