A special afternoon tea was hosted at the Oakdale Rescue Mission’s Morrison House on March 30, with attendees enjoying a wide variety of teas, finger sandwiches, pastries, music, prize drawings and more. There were tours of the home provided as well and proceeds from the afternoon tea will help the organization continue to provide services for the local homeless population, with laundry facilities, work stations, résumé assistance and more featured at the location.
