A crew of volunteer decorators was kept busy putting names and drawings on the luminaria bags that were lighted and displayed around the track on the soccer field at Oakdale High School as part of Saturday’s annual Relay For Life event benefitting the American Cancer Society.

In a shortened Relay For Life, running 15 hours as opposed to the traditional 24, there was still plenty of time to pack in the events. Cancer survivors, caregivers, team members and some visitors from the community just stopping by got to enjoy a variety of activities and take a chance at a number of raffle drawings offered at team booths. There was also food, games and more. Here are a few photos from the event.
