A trio of Oakdale police officers keep the ram moving in the right direction after it was ‘apprehended’ in the city limits this week. Residents in the area grabbed photos or just watched the incident unfold. The City of Oakdale Animal Shelter posted receiving a report of the ram being seen on the back side of River Bluff Drive, close to the Stanislaus River. The ram had been on the loose for over a week before being taken into custody on Sunday. It was being cared for while authorities worked to reunite it with its owner.
