A new family fun gathering spot is now open in the front pasture at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds on East F Street in Oakdale.
The grand opening was Friday, Oct. 10 and Chester’s Pumpkin Pasture will be open through Halloween, Friday, Oct. 31.
It is described as “an agricultural-based fall family event built on the roots of Oakdale’s farming and ranching community.”
Included are a variety of agriculture related activities such as a pumpkin patch, cattle truck play areas, corn pits, hay bale mazes, barnyard animals, pony rides, kids rodeo corral, and more.
The Pumpkin Pasture is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and the entrance and parking are on D street, on the north side of the rodeo grounds.
Friday through Sunday evenings, local brewery, Dying Breed will host a beer garden on site as well as other local food truck vendors setting up as well. Live music will be offered from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays.
Monday through Thursday admission is $15 per person; Friday through Sunday admission is $20 per person; children two and under are admitted free.
