The Knights Ferry History and Museum Associates are gearing up for this weekend’s Peddler’s Faire, which is scheduled for Sunday, April 28. This will be the 28th annual Gold Country Peddler’s Faire and it goes off, rain or shine, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. Admission is free.

The event will feature antiques, collectibles, and handmade craft items displayed by the artist. In conjunction with the faire, a pancake breakfast will be held at the IOOF Hall on Main Street from 7 a.m. until noon. There will be food booths at the Peddler’s Faire as well as a free shuttle bus running to and from the event. The ice cream shop in Knights Ferry will be open for business and the community museum will be open, upstairs in Miller’s Hall.

Knights Ferry also boasts the 156-year-old covered bridge, spanning the Stanislaus River, which was designated as a National Historic Landmark in March, 2014.
