Oakdale Police arrested two people on multiple charges after witnessing one of the suspects stealing mail from a residential mailbox on Friday, Oct. 22.

The patrol officer searched the vehicle, recovering more than 34 pieces of mail from 34 victims as well as drug paraphernalia. Police are in the process of notifying all victims.

Two men were arrested, one from Modesto and the other from Ceres on narcotics, mail/identity theft charges as well as parole violations.
