In July, the annual Friday evening summer Concerts in the Park schedule will begin on July 8 and continue weekly through Aug. 26. Concerts run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Dorada Park. The park is at 600 N. Second Ave., adjacent to the community pool, and the concerts kick off this week. Beginning the lineup of live music will be popular group Remedy on July 8, followed by the Ava Grace Trio on July 15; Erik Andersen on July 22; Barbara Findlay and Jim Ramont on July 29. August will bring Mike Maguire on Aug. 5; Hit Replay on Aug. 12; Karaoke Night by Geminiz Creationz on Aug. 19; and Alex Lucero and the Live Again Band closing out the popular summer program on Aug. 26.

Also in August, Chamber officials will be putting on the 14th annual Taste of Oakdale. This event is set for Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Gene Bianchi Community Center at 110 S. Second Ave.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door, tickets are on sale now through the Chamber website or at the Chamber office at 590 N. Yosemite Ave., Oakdale. The event will allow community members to sample offerings from the local dining scene and have an evening to Eat, Sample, and Explore.

In September, the ninth annual Golf Classic Fundraiser is set for Monday, Sept. 12 with an 8 a.m. start at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club. All participation forms can be found online at oakdalechamber.com/events or obtained by calling the office.
