Story Time Sessions will resume in May: Wiggle Worms every Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Enjoy stories, music, dancing, rhythm activities, and fingerplay at this special program perfect for ages 0 to 3 and their caregivers. (25-30 minutes.)

Preschool Story Time is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Books, flannelboard stories, fingerplay, and music for preschoolers, ages 3-6, and caregivers. (30 min.)

Computer Basics class will be offered May 3 and an Internet Basics class on May 31. Classes begin at 10:30 a.m. Please call the Library for info at 847-4204 and be sure to reserve your space, each session is limited to four people.

Thursday, May 5, at 3:30 p.m. we will have a wonderful Children’s Craft. We will be making Paper Flower Plants for Mother’s Day.

The Wee Move And Play program, featuring unstructured imaginative play for little ones, 5 and under, will be May 9, at 11 a.m.

Teens and Adults: Join in on May 11, at 3:30 p.m. to make bookmarks from duct tape, ribbon, and other interesting materials and your own imagination.

Summer Reading Challenge for all ages begins May 24. Read some great books, join us for fun activities and programs, and enter for prizes throughout the summer. Help us kick off our Summer Reading Fun by joining us on May 25, at 3:30 p.m. for some “Giant Games!” We will be playing with huge game pieces and choices for game enthusiasts from ages 3 to 103.

We will have two Lego Days this month, May 12 and May 26. Both will begin at 3:30 p.m. Kids can unleash their creativity and we will display these masterpieces in the Library.

The Library Book Club will be reading “The Big Year” and meeting to discuss and share on Tuesday, May 24, at 11:30 a.m. Sign out your copy at the Library. New members welcome.

Also on May 24, the Friends of the Oakdale Library will gather for a meeting.
