ANAHEIM Theres nothing quite like Disneyland.
I made my first trek to Anaheim and entered the gates at the most magical place on earth when I was 5 years old. The lights, the music, the general atmosphere of the park make an experience that ruins all other realities for you. I no longer wanted to live my life in elementary school classrooms and small city streets. I wanted to live where I could hug Minnie Mouse and fly on Dumbo. The desire to return after a first visit is a truly nagging feeling.
Because of that urge, it is a truth universally acknowledged that at any given moment, you probably know someone who is currently visiting Walt and co. and filling your Instagram feed with photos of little kids meeting their favorite Disney characters and buying delicious (albeit overpriced) concessions. We all know people who have gotten engaged there, honeymooned there and even planned adults-only trips.
For those of us who havent been able to visit everybodys happy place in some time, YouTuber Dapper Geek News has given us something to hold on to until we can make our next pilgrimage. His great hyperlapse of the park really captures the magic and mayhem of the Anaheim Acropolis.
I can practically taste the churros.
