Our community park meeting was postponed last week due to the weather. It will be held this Friday, March 31 at 3 p.m. at the park. Thank you to each of you who have called. It will be exciting to hear your ideas! A couple of the ‘fun’ fundraisers we will be discussing will be a horseshoe tournament and a 50’s Dinner! Congratulations to our Oakdale High FFA Livestock judging team. They were the High Point Team at the MJC Field Day this past weekend. Great job Oakdale, your hard work is definitely paying off!

Best wishes go out to Cy Chrisman. Cy is well known around Valley Home for his enthusiasm and hard work! Cy is always willing to help out with every fundraiser and community event. Congratulations Cy on your upcoming graduation. I am sure Cy’s parents, Sally and Jeff are extremely proud!

Special times in Valley Home with the beautiful sunny days of Spring upon us, it is nice to see folks getting their gardens ready to go. I am looking forward to the healthy bounty of a summer garden!

Our community will deeply miss the Hoover family as they leave to follow what our good Lord has next in store for them. Tim was minister at our Baptist Church in Valley Home and a custodian at Valley Home School. We all wish you the very best!
