The Stanislaus County Board of Supervisors will consider ConAgra’s application for a permit to spread aerated pond sediment onto Oakdale farmlands owned by John Brichetto at a public meeting at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 8. The meeting will be held at the Basement Chambers, 1010 10th St., Modesto, where the board will conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of a Negative Declaration.
Oakdale residents and various local, regional, and state agencies have filed comments through the CEQA process to voice their concerns regarding the spreading of by-product waste material from ConAgra’s aerated ponds.
