Oakdale residents will have the chance this evening, Wednesday, March 21, to offer some input on the city’s sign ordinance. This will be the third in a series of Community Workshops dealing with the ordinance.

Scheduled for 6 p.m., the workshop will be hosted at the Oakdale City Council Chambers at 277 N. Second Ave., and is open to all interested. The goal is to gather input from residents on what they feel works and what doesn’t work concerning the sign ordinance. The City is currently undergoing a comprehensive update to the ordinance.

Among the topics of discussion at the session will be flag signs, banners and window signs, temporary signage, review of a draft ordinance and implementation and enforcement.
