The annual Stanislaus River Salmon Festival, a free, family-friendly event, is swimming into the Knights Ferry Recreation area on Kennedy Road, off Highway 108/120 this weekend.
The festival is planned on Sunday, Nov. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Organized by a host of local groups, including the Stanislaus County Farm Bureau, Cramer Fish Sciences and the US Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento division, this event will feature:

• Fish print T-shirts
• Salmon obstacle course
• Fly fishing demonstration
• Historic tours
• Food
• Face painting
• Education exhibits
• Arts and Craft vendors
