Roadwork Closures Planned Through July
Cone

With school just letting out for the summer, some major roadwork is planned in several areas around school sites.

Work was scheduled to get underway on Tuesday, May 30 and is anticipated to last through July 21 and will be require some road closures due to the city of Oakdale’s 2017 Overlay Project.

Areas impacted by the project will be: Pontiac Street between Oak and Lee avenues, Lee Avenue between West F Street and Poplar, and Johnson Avenue between East F Street and C Street.

During the construction period, all these streets will have limited access and at times be closed between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 7 pm.; temporary ‘No Parking’ signs have gone up in the impacted areas to allow for the roadwork to be done unimpeded.

Access to residents will be maintained during the projects.

For more information, visit the city’s link to the projects at http://www.oakdalegov.com/public-services-c15fk.

Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes to detour around the roadwork or to allow additional time for delays in the affected areas.
