Police Searching For Suspect In Kidnapping, Rape Case

A 16-year-old girl was kidnapped and raped Wednesday afternoon, June 13 around 1 p.m. by a man described as a 40-something male adult driving an older black, beat-up truck with damage to the passenger side, said police.

According to police reports, the girl was walking home from Oakdale High School when an unknown male subject in the 600 block of West J Street approached the girl from behind and threatened her with a knife. He forced her into the truck and covered her eyes with an unknown item. He drove to an unknown location near Oakdale, forced the girl to remove her clothes and raped her. Afterward, he made the girl dress and then dropped her off in an undisclosed area of Oakdale. The suspect had threatended to kill the girl if she told anyone.

The Oakdale Unified School District sent out an alert through their automated phone tree, reminding parents to tell their children to remain vigilent and aware of their surroundings.
