Oakdale Hair Salon Plans Grand Opening
blown away
Cassie Fullen, Shelley Clinton and Mandy Hedden are three sisters from Oakdale that own and operate a new downtown salon, Blown Away.

Three Oakdale sisters used quarantine to their advantage as they decided to open a salon right in the heart of Oakdale. Cassie Fullen, Mandy Hedden and Shelley Clinton opened the doors to their new salon, “Blown Away”, just a few weeks ago. It took over three months for the dedicated sisters to build from the ground up, everything you see in the salon they did themselves with the help of their family.

Twins, Cassie and Mandy, have 16 years of experience doing hair and their sister Shelley has over 14 years of experience doing nails. Starting a family business was something that the three sisters have always wanted to do.

“We all started in separate salons and we’ve always wanted to work together, I get to be with my sisters all day long,” said Fullen.

Blown Away salon will be hosting a grand opening on Thursday, Dec. 10 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The grand opening will be a chance for old and new clientele to treat themselves to some Botox from Kacie Avey, shop their boutique by Dani Nicole, and see the new salon. All product and retail purchases will receive a raffle entry for a chance to win a curated gift basket full of products from Blown Away.

Blown Away is at 146 N. Yosemite Ave., in Oakdale, and can be reached at 209-844-5144.
