The Yosemite Community College District (YCCD) announced the position for Modesto Junior College President will be reopened. The YCCD Chancellor expressed much appreciation and gratitude to the screening committee and finalists who attended forums and were interviewed. According to Chancellor Yong, “The search process will be restarted in fall 2018.” In the meantime, an interim president will be named. The Chancellor is actively considering individuals for the short-term appointment and expects to name an interim President as soon as possible, with the expectation that the individual could be available to the campus in planning for the fall semester start-up.
