U.S. Air Force Airman Andrew Howard graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

He graduated on Nov. 11, 2016 and on March 30, 2017 he received his certificate in Firefighting from Goodfellow AFB in Texas. After receiving his certificate, he left for Hurlburt Field AFB in Florida where he will be a Firefighter.

His family members are his three sisters, Sarah, Mary and Becky Kaili.

Howard graduated from Oakdale High School in May 2016.

U.S. Air Force Airman Hunter M. Dias graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.

The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.

Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

He is a 2016 graduate of East Stanislaus High School, Oakdale.
