The Oakdale Chamber of Commerce and the City of Oakdale will host its annual State of the City Address on Wednesday, Jan. 30 at the Gene Bianchi Community Center.

Mayor Pat Paul will be reviewing 2012 and what is ahead for Oakdale in 2013.

Paul said she intends to introduce new City Manager Bryan Whitemyer to the audience.

“Finances have been untangled and we’re handing over a good, strong city to Bryan,” said Paul.

Paul said she will be reviewing where the city was over the last year and where it is headed. She also plans to focus on getting citizens involved in the community and participating in government.

“It will be upbeat and positive,” Paul said.

The event starts at 11:30 a.m. and a buffet lunch will be served.

Reservations are required and the cost is $13 per person. For reservations or additional information contact the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce at (209) 847-2244.
