A crowd of more than 100 persons, including city officials, community residents and some visitors from neighboring Riverbank, attended the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce’s ‘State of the City’ address presented by Oakdale Mayor Pat Paul at the city’s Community Center on Wednesday, Jan. 26.

The address, titled “Oakdale 2011 & Beyond,” covered several topics including consolidation of police services, improving customer relations, and generating sources of income for the city.

Mayor Paul also discussed ways to bring more business to the city and strengthening relationships between the city and the school district, Oak Valley Hospital, Oakdale Irrigation District and city service organizations.
