The Stanislaus County Fair is excited to offer multiple lounges opened to guests throughout the 10 days of Fair.
The Stanislaus County Fair will offer three lounges, The ReCharge Modesto Toyota Lounge, empowHER Lounge, and the Baby Care Center.
“We want our guests to enjoy themselves as much as possible while they are here,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair. “The lounges provided will offer comfort, fun, and educational experiences.”
The Stanislaus County Fair has partnered with Vintage Faire Mall and Yonan’s Jewelers and hosted by KHOP @ 95.1 to bring guests a contemporary and inspirational lounge for young women, ages 16-25, to enjoy. The empowHER Lounge will be a lounge geared towards inspiring young girls to be great leaders in the community. Giving girls the confidence to be themselves through workshops is the goal of the lounge. The lounge will also be presenting the girls with the skills needed to empower others as much as empowering themselves. The lounge will also provide daily presentations, presented by Women’s Education and Leadership League (W.E.L.L.) Presentations will include topics such as becoming a better digital citizen; speaking up and finding their voice; as well as finding their cause and passion in life. The lounge will be open daily during the Fair on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and weekends from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Stanislaus County Fair has partnered with Modesto Toyota to bring guests a charging station for their mobile devices. The ReCharge Modesto Toyota Lounge is a highly popular feature that was introduced two years ago and hosted by KAT Country 103. The ReCharge Modesto Toyota lounge will be located in concessions row across from the Bud Light Variety Free Stage concert area. The charging stations will be visibly located next to the sitting areas while flat screen televisions will be playing Modesto Toyota commercials and the Fair commercial. The lounge will be open daily during the Fair on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and weekends from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m.
“The ReCharge Modesto Toyota Lounge and Baby Care Center were highly popular last year. Guests appreciated having a place to relax while charging their mobile devices,” said Alkhas. “Parents enjoyed the enclosed area and privacy to nurse or change their babies in the Baby Care Center.”
The Stanislaus County Fair will be offering guests a comfortable lounge for nursing, changing, and feeding babies with the help of Emanuel Medical Center and Doctors Medical Center. The Baby Care Center will be located inside one of the smaller buildings, the old photography building, by concessions row and across from the Bud Light Variety Free Stage. The lounge will offer three stations for nursing mothers along with a reclining couch and table. There will be a play area for children; a changing station in the restrooms; and high chairs for feedings. The lounge will be open daily during the Fair on weekdays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The 2016 Stanislaus County Fair opens Friday, July 8 for a 10-day run.
