A public information session led by Laura Podolsky of the Local Government Commission, on behalf of the City of Oakdale, will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 8, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 pm at the Gladys L. Lemmons Senior Center at 450 East A Street.

The cities of Oakdale, Riverbank and Modesto have come together to work with residents, community groups, and business owners to transform the Highway 108 Corridor into a more vibrant place to work, live and visit. The planning study will identify opportunities for improving the safety, comfort, and appeal for all users as well as provide recommendations for attracting new development and business along this regional highway.

Those attending will have the opportunity to learn more about this planning study, provide ideas, and participate in a small group mapping exercise that will identify challenges and opportunities for improving Highway 108/ F Street in Oakdale.
