The Stanislaus Family Justice Center provides lifesaving solutions through partnerships. They serve to eradicate violence from the community. Their mission is to not rest until every victim of domestic violence and every abused child receives the services, love, comfort and help they deserve.
The community is invited to join them in supporting the Stanislaus Family Justice Center on Saturday, Sept. 14 at the Modesto Centre Plaza. The Stanislaus Family justice Center and the Costa Family Foundation are joining forces in hosting the first “Law Enforcement Officer’s Ball,” a benefit fundraiser for the Stanislaus Family Justice Center.
At the Stanislaus Family Justice Center, victims and their children are protected, while the services they need are in one place; police officers, deputy sheriffs, prosecutors, advocates, chaplains, counselors, medical professionals and other necessary services. The Stanislaus Family Justice Center offers help and hope for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse and human trafficking all under one roof.
The Law Enforcement Officer’s Ball will be a night where law enforcement officers, the Costa Family Foundation, the Stanislaus Family Justice Center and many more, will join with the community, to help raise money and continue to fund our efforts in breaking the cycle of violence.
The Stanislaus Family Justice Center is based upon the San Diego Family Justice Center model which opened in 2002. They were recognized and identified as a best practice in the field of domestic violence intervention and prevention services by the United States Department of Justice. The documented and published outcomes include reduced homicides, increased victim safety, increased autonomy and empowerment for victims, reduced fear and anxiety for victims and their children, increased efficiency and coordination among service providers and reduced recantation and minimization by victims when protected by the services and support.
