Gas Station Robbed Over Weekend

Oakdale Police are investigating an armed robbery of the Valero gasoline station, 1590 East F St. from early Saturday, July 25.

Police stated the incident was called into police at 2:45 a.m.

According to a department press release, one suspect entered the business and brandished a handgun demanding money. During the incident the suspect had a red bandanna covering his face. Police said the suspect took money and cigarettes from the store clerk and also robbed a customer that was inside the store, taking money while a second suspect stood lookout in front of the business.

Both suspects ran away in a southeast direction.

Investigators described one suspect as a Latino or Asian male adult, 5-foot-9, bald or shaved head, with a medium build in his mid to late 20s. He was last seen wearing black pants and a camouflage jacket. The second suspect is described as a white or Latino male adult, 5-foot 9, mid to late 20s, heavyset with short black hair and a black mustache. He was wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt and shorts.
